Welcome to colder weather! Please remember to use a ‘layering’ approach. Our mornings are cold and it tends to get much warmer in the afternoon. Sending students in multiple layers will help keep everyone healthy.

Parent Volunteers

TRM values parent integration in our curriculum. Administration has done a great deal of work to ensure all parents are handing in the necessary items to volunteer. If you have signed up to volunteer in the classroom, or on field trips and you have not handed in a Vulnerable Sector Check, please do so as soon as possible. Shortly, a schedule will be emailed to all TRM volunteers including dates for reading buddies, classroom parties, flower donations and classroom sanitizing. If there are other ways you are interested in volunteering please let us know and we will be happy to discuss options with you.

Parent Education Night

This year our Parent Education Night will be held on Thursday November 6th for both campuses, and it will be a “Museum Style” education night. Parents are encouraged to come through both Campuses that evening. There will be more details to follow in the coming weeks.

Yoga with Miss Megan

We would like to welcome back Miss Megan, our yoga teacher. She will be teaching at both campuses for the next 5 Wednesdays. If you are interested, her bio is available on our website.

Thanksgiving Weekend

We will be closed on Friday October 10th for a Professional Development day, and on Monday October 13th for Thanksgiving. Have a wonderful long weekend.

Main Campus Cafés

Monday October 27th -Elementary European Café from 1:00-3:30 Tuesday October 28th: Casa European Café from 11:00-3:00 Our students will be acting as servers at a cafe welcoming their families into TRM for a European Café. Parents will be provided with a link for a reservation sign-up and a order form next week. Please sign up & hand in your order form in by the date requested. The Junior Campus European Café will be held in the spring.

Halloween Parties

Halloween Festivities: Please do not bring treats to share with friends. Friday, October 31st is a fun day at TRM. Students and staff are welcome to follow the dress-down theme of Orange and Black. Elementary students will be able to dress up in their costumes in the afternoon. Please make sure the costume is simple enough for them to put on independently. All classrooms will enjoy parties with games and a special art/craft – thank you, parent volunteers!
