Victoria Day Weekend – School Closed
Both Campuses are closed Friday, May 15th and Monday, May 18th, for Professional Development and the May long weekend. 

All Aboard Catering Kids – Main Campus

It is with great anticipation and excitement that we announce a trial week at our campus this month with All Aboard Catering Kids! Your child’s nutritional needs could be covered during the week of May 25th. Yes, this means that you would only need to send a water bottle with your child to school this week! Please know that this is OPTIONAL and not required to be part of, just like the Hot Lunch Program we do on Wednesdays. 

The sign-up form has been sent over to Brightwheel. The Menu can be found on the second page. Also, the menu has been shared through “Shared Files” on Brightwheel for easier “check-back” access. 

McNally House Fundraiser

Representatives from the McNally House will be travelling to TRM for a special presentation. We will be participating in a Hike for Hospice on a special day in May—more information to come early next week.

Elementary Art Gallery Trips

On Thursdays, April 30th, May 7th and May 14th, both Elementary classes will be walking to the Art Gallery.

Grade 3 Cultural Exchange

On Friday, May 8th, at 3:00 pm at the Junior Campus, the Grade 3s will be having their first-ever ‘Cultural Exchange.’ They have been practicing all April and are excited to present to their families & peers.

Dance

For the month of May, all classrooms will be receiving dance lessons from Miss. Mandy. We look forward to welcoming her back and having great weather for some outdoor participation! 

Dress down
Please note that the following days are out-of-uniform days:

Friday, May 29th – There will be no theme, but the children are invited to bring one item for show and tell.

Year-End Concerts 

TRM, year-end concerts, all classes learn multiple songs to present as a group in front of families and friends. We have smaller concerts for our youngest learners and for our older students, we have an offsite performance at Lakemount Worship Centre. Please check for your child’s concert below. All of these dates are in our website calendar & Brightwheel.

Term 3 reports will go out to families on June 1, 2026, with Parent-Teacher interviews starting that week. Please wait for a Brightwheel message from your child’s teacher for booking.

Pride Flag

As we make our way into June, both our Main and Junior campuses will display their Pride flags. At TRM, we believe in fostering a community where everyone feels seen, valued and included. Together, we can conquer the world with kindness and love. Happy Pride!

Elementary Graduation

Elementary Graduation (Grade 3 students) will take place at the Main Campus on Tuesday June 2nd at 2:30 PM. 

End of the year trip

The Fallsview Waterpark trip will take place on Friday June 5th! We look forward to seeing everyone who is attending.

Parent Survey 

Your feedback is an essential part of how we grow and improve as a school community. We value your insights and invite every family to take a few moments to complete our annual parent survey.

Please submit your responses by Thursday, June 14th, 2026. The survey results will be thoughtfully reviewed and shared with our staff before the end of June.

Thank you for helping us continue to provide the best possible Montessori experience for your children.

Play Day

Junior Campus and Main Campus play days will be held on Wednesday June 10! This special day is all about fun and movement. Students will take part in a variety of outdoor games and team activities to encourage cooperation, creativity and school spirit. Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately, out of uniform on this day.

Our students mentioned they wanted to add some special themes during our last week of school. These dates are now also reflected on the school calendar…

Monday, June 8th – Wacky hair or wacky hat day.

Tuesday, June 9th – Wear your favourite colour day.

Wednesday, June 10th – Coyote Day.

Thursday, June 11th – Beach & Cottage Attire Day. 

Friday, June 12th – Dress however you like!

Summer Camps

Summer camps are being run out of the Junior Campus only this year. We have limited spaces available if anyone is still interested. Contact addison.detullio@trailridge.ca, megan.soloman@trailridge.ca or cassidy.talarico@trailridge.ca if you want to register. We accept students from 18 months up to Grade 4. 

Sun Safety 

The weather has officially changed, and we are still going outside for fresh air. Please send your child with a hat, refillable water bottle and sunscreen. A spray or stick version of sunscreen is best.

Thursday, September 3rd- Orientation Meetings.

Tuesday, September 8th- Open House from 8:30-11:30 am (Drop off extra clothes & indoor shoes)

Wednesday, September 9th – First Day of School. Before/after school offered.
