Earth Day
On April 22nd, we will be celebrating Earth Day as a school community. As you may recall, one of our three main goals for this school year is “Environmental Issues and Solutions”. We have put a major emphasis on ways we can work together to help keep the oceans blue, the planet green, and the animals safe! One way we have incorporated this into our daily routine in the classroom has been through partnering with the region on their recycling program. On the morning of April 22nd, the region will be visiting us at both campuses for a presentation. For our casa classes at the Junior Campus, this will include a 30-minute waste-themed storybook reading, while at our Main Campus, there will be a presentation on managing your waste and a sorting activity.
The Toddler classes will be celebrating in their own way. Please keep an eye on Brightwheel for more information from your child’s teacher(s).
